Stockholmshem is a municipal housing company owned by Stockholms stad and is part of the Stockholm Stadshus AB group. The company was founded in 1937 to build homes for families with children. According to the company, it owns and manages between 28,500 and 29,000 residential apartments with nearly 60,000 tenants. The portfolio includes standard rental apartments, student accommodation, youth flats, and senior housing.
