Available apartments from Södertorpsgården Neptuna

Neptuna is a senior housing complex in Malmö owned by Södertorpsgården, a non-profit association. The association was formed in 1968 and consists of thirteen member foundations. It is thus run neither by the municipality nor by a profit-making property company.

According to the City of Malmö's list of senior and secure housing, Neptuna is aimed at people aged 55 or older. The list gives 95 flats of two rooms and a communal room for the residents.

We have followed the adverts since February 2026. Since then, 17 flats have been advertised, all in Malmö and all as senior housing. Almost all were two-room flats, 16 of them, with an average rent of SEK 7,866 a month. The average size was 50 square metres. Rents ranged between SEK 6,131 and SEK 9,049. All of the flats were in buildings with a lift and 71 per cent had a balcony.

All adverts stated a queue requirement, that is, that the flats are allocated by queue time. In addition to the age limit, according to company information, you must be a pensioner and registered as resident in Malmö.

Södertorpsgården is building more. Peab has been commissioned to build new senior housing for the association in Malmö for SEK 275 million, with construction starting in May 2026 and move-in in summer 2028. Vacant flats in Neptuna are listed on this page and updated daily.
