Eksta Bostads AB is the housing company of Kungsbacka municipality and a municipal housing company. According to the company, it owns and manages about 3,200 rental flats and 100 commercial premises. The flats are in the town of Kungsbacka and in several of the municipality's localities, including Särö and Fjärås.

According to the company, Eksta has worked with solar energy since the 1970s. The company is the dominant landlord in the municipality, and almost all flats allocated through Kungsbacka's municipal housing queue come from Eksta.
