Citycon is a private property group founded in 1988 in Finland. The parent company, Citycon Oyj, is listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in Helsingfors and is owned by institutional and international property and finance groups as well as retail shareholders. The group focuses primarily on commercial properties and shopping centres, but also owns and manages residential properties. According to the company, its Swedish residential portfolio comprises approximately 570 apartments.

The homes in Sweden are situated in Kista in Stockholm, integrated into and above Kista Galleria. The portfolio mainly consists of student apartments and fixed-term youth housing. The majority of the advertised apartments are student housing, alongside a smaller number of youth flats on short-term contracts and standard rental apartments.

Over the past year, the average rent for allocated apartments was SEK 6,715 a month, with a lowest rent of SEK 5,661 and a highest of SEK 13,611. The average living area was 27 square metres with an average of 1.1 rooms. For one-room apartments, which make up the vast majority of the supply, the average rent was SEK 6,268 a month. Two-room apartments had an average monthly rent of SEK 11,551. All homes allocated during the period had lift access.
